Transitions is an exceptionally bright plastic photochromic
lens, with a transmission of 90% and with an absorption
of 90%, it is extremely , dark. Further more, a 70% tint
is achieved in less than 30 seconds. This also makes it
an incredibly fast photochromic lens that also displays
impressively low temperature dependence. They combine
the lightness and the high resistance to breakage of plastic
lenses with the benefit of automatic adaption to prevailing
light conditions. |
